What makes Waza Project different from other Jiu-Jitsu academies?

Our entire kids’ program was built with safety first. Classes are always supervised by certified coaches with experience in early childhood development. Movements are age-appropriate, no kicking and no punching, and we keep strict control over behavior to ensure a respectful, non-violent environment where every child feels protected.

What should my child wear for their first class?

Just basic athletic clothing a T-shirt and shorts or leggings work perfectly. No uniform or equipment is needed for the trial. If your child joins, we’ll guide you on how and where to get everything they need, stress-free.

Can I stay and watch the class?

Yes, we have a parent viewing area where you can comfortably watch the class in real time. It’s important that you see how we work and how your child is supported every step of the way.

What age can my child start?

We accept kids starting at age 2, all the way up to 12. Classes are separated not just by age, but also by emotional and physical maturity, so your child trains at their own pace, with the right level of challenge and support.
